E.R. Precision Optical is based in downtown Orlando, FL, specializing in the manufacture of precision optical components formed from all materials. We support orders for small quantities to high volume production requirements. In addition, we are the only US- based facility growing both our own custom germanium and silicon crystals (ingots) for use in today’s advanced infrared (IR) targeting and sighting optics; windows, lenses, prisms & filters. We service many markets -- defense & aerospace, photonics, high tech electronics, semiconductor, automotive, photovoltaic & medical -- supplying IR materials and custom finished optics for numerous applications. In support of our US Department of Defense contractors, we offer the benefits of being a Small Business/HUBZone facility that is ITAR registered and ISO certified. Additionally, we recycle Germanium (Ge). We are the only 100%, full-capability facility with a germanium reclaim/recycling program that produces new germanium crystals from old, obsolete, damaged Ge windows and other large Ge optics all under one roof. We are licensed to provide DoD demilling services and hazardous material disposal found in the reclaimed components. Our Ge reclaim program helps to significantly reduce the cost of new IR optics for our defense programs.
