Valencia College offers an A.S. degree in Lasers & Photonics as well as a new technician program for Precision Optics. A.S. Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology specialization in Lasers & Photonics The Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology associate in science (A.S. ECET) with specialization in Lasers & Photonics has a curriculum designed to produce highly skilled technicians capable of assisting in the design, operation, and servicing of optics, photonics, and laser systems. In addition, a 12 college credit hours Laser & Photonics technician certificate is embedded in the degree or available as a standalone option. The A.S. Our technicians can earn 5 industry credentials in the field. Through extensive hands-on training, our technicians are ready to make an immediate impact in the workplace.
